Announcing Crust Network x Common Protocol

Today, we announced the Common Protocol integration with Crust Network (see Twitter post). Crust provides a decentralized storage network of Web3.0 ecosystem, supporting multiple storage layer protocols such as IPFS, and exposing storage interfaces to application layer. Crust’s technical stack is also capable of supporting a decentralized computing layer — it is designed to build a decentralized cloud ecosystem that values data privacy and ownership.

"Common Protocol will enrich the function of Crust community government," said Steve from Crust Networks, "while Crust will provide storage solution for the Off-Chain data storage feature."

While Commonwealth is already the go-to-governance interface in the Polkadot Ecosystem (onboarding an average of 1 parachain per week since 2021), we aren't just a governance interface. We are continuing to work with the Crust Network team and community to help decentralize the protocol. Additionally, we can use our decentralized funding protocol to let the community run the existing grant program.
